What will it take for the 49ers to spring an upset?

The San Francisco 49ers are a 9.5 point underdog against the Green Bay Packers and most of the free world figures Green Bay at least wins White Fred Warner Jersey , even if they don’t cover the spread. There are a few holdouts among Week 6 NFL picks, including SB Nation’s own Ryan Van Bibber. His reasoning for picking the 49ers? “The Packers really should beat the 49ers on Monday night, but, hey, I’m not getting burned by them again.”There’s a website called NFL Pick Watch that tracks picks from NFL analysts, be they experts or slightly better than amateurs. They have 113 people they track, and of the ones who have submitted a pick, 98 percent are picking the Packers. The two people picking the 49ers are RVB and CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora.Given the Buffalo Bills beat the Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis, it is safe to say that a 49ers upset is possible. It is not likely, but the NFL is proving this year that upsets can easily happen even amongst the worst teams in the league. But what will it take for the 49ers to spring an upset in Lambeau? If the 49ers don’t turn the ball over five times and can get one or two takeaways, it would put them in a much better position. But it will take more than that. Winning the turnover battle will help, but they’ll need more than that. They can’t have six drops, they can’t regularly miss tackles on defense, they certainly can’t be missing extra points! On offense Youth Solomon Thomas Jersey , the 49ers will have to hold up against Mike Pettine’s exotic blitzing. Mike McGlinchey has improved in pass coverage the past couple weeks, and he’ll need to continue that this week. It’d be great having Matt Breida playing, but if not, they will turn to Alfred Morris to grind some clock. He has gotten more work in the passing game, but dominating time of possession (and not turning the ball over) will be key.On defense, the 49ers absolutely need to get pressure against a limited Rodgers. He still can get his passes off as quick as anybody, but with knee issues, it is critical the 49ers make him uncomfortable. On the back-end, they need whomever starts opposite Richard Sherman to show up with something resembling a decent performance. The 49ers don’t need a perfect game to beat Green Bay, but they do need a fundamentally sound game. I agree with Shanahan’s specific criticisms of Grant Cohn’s discipline questions, but I do think fundamentals have been a problem for this team. We have seen improvement, but the problem is inconsistency. The team improved their tackling this past week, only to struggle in a big way with drops. They cannot afford any inconsistency given the injuries that have left them shorthanded.I know most everybody thinks the 49ers will lose this game, but if they were to spring the upset White Alfred Morris Jersey , how do you see it playing out? I’m not expecting a full-on game recap, but what are some of the big things that lead to the upset?Golden Nuggets: Getting the red zone offense fixed Starting the season against the Vikings in Minnesota was always going to be a tough task for the 49ers. The Vikings were one game away from the Super Bowl last year and upgraded their quarterback with the signing of Kirk Cousins in the offseason. But that still doesn’t help with the 49ers’ frustration in their loss on Sunday. They were in the game and had opportunities to steal a victory. Mistakes and red zone failures put winning out of reach. The red zone issues were glaring on Sunday. They were in the red zone 4 times against the Viking’s elite defense. In those opportunities, they scored one touchdown and fumbled one at the goal line. It’s always going to be hard to score touchdowns against great defenses like Minnesota’s, so when the opportunity arises, the team has to punch them in. The Alfred Morris fumble at the 1 yard line hurt a lot because it would have tied the game at 10 a piece. Instead, they never got closer than 11 points. On a series in the 3rd quarter, Jimmy Garoppolo hit a jumping Pierre Garcon, but Pierre could not secure the touchdown. That led the team to a field goal. On their last red zone chance, Jimmy sailed a pass over George Kittle from 4 yards. That led to their last points of the game.In their home opener this coming Sunday, the 49ers face the Detroit Lions, who had an awful game on Monday night. The Lions had poor showings on both sides of the ball. Matt Stafford had 4 interceptions against the Jets and the Jets offense hung 41 points on the terrible Lions defense. That’s a much easier task than facing the Vikings defense so the 49ers should have an opportunity to fix their red zone offense on Sunday. 49ers linksNot an ideal way to start the season | Down 2 guards potentially (Alper)That red zone offense needs to get fixed immediately | Fixing the offense (Inman)Other than the dropped pass, he had a good game | Good start to Kittle’s season (Williams)Only allowed one reception | Richard Sherman’s 1st game went well (Wagoner)Have to fix the red zone offense (Maiocco)Dante’s 1st TD (Martin)Defense played well. The San Francisco 49ers were playing atrocious football on offense for much of the first half against the

Los Angeles Rams in Week 7. However Cheap Dante Pettis Jersey , George Kittle put the team on his back in the second quarter to get a score and give the team a chance to make this interesting in the second half.Kittle had one reception for nine yards prior to the 49ers final offensive drive. However, trailing 22-0, he stepped up in a big way. He got open for a 35-yard catch-and-run to open the drive. He followed that up with a 23-yard reception to get down to the Rams 17. That second catch was a particularly impressive piece of work. It was a short three-yard reception that he turned into a 23-yard haul courtesy of an impressive stiff arm — while dragging another Rams defender. Troy Hill was trying to tackle Kittle, and as that was going on, Kittle stiff-armed Marcus Peters. Enjoy this display of brute physicality.Kittle followed that up with a 10-yard touchdown in which he showed excellent awareness getting into the end zone before making the grab. He was pushed forward out of the end zone, but he had control of the ball before then for the score. The 49ers still trail 22-7, but that last drive was progress. The 49ers get the ball back to open the second half, which gives them a chance to cut the lead to one possession. The 49ers have not shown enough to convince they’ll consistently get on the board, but they have at least a little bit of momentum coming out of the locker room. Mississippi's public safety commissioner disclosed Saturday that state police will no longer buy Nike products Cheap Ahkello Witherspoon Jersey , saying the athletic apparel maker is unpatriotic and fails to support those in uniform."As commissioner of the Department of Public Safety, I will not support vendors who do not support law enforcement and our military," Commissioner Marshall Fisher said in a statement Saturday to The Associated Press. It isn't immediately clear how much gear the state police agency buys from Nike or if it purchases directly from the athletic apparel maker. Department spokesman Warren Strain said the department has bought shoes and shirts from the company, as well as tactical training uniforms. But Mississippi's Republican establishment is jumping to support the cause, with Gov. Phil Bryant lauding his appointee's decision."I support the commissioner's decision," Bryant said in a statement. The governor said the commissioner has the right to choose vendors his department does business with "and it's not going to be a company that pays an individual who has slandered our fine men and women in law enforcement."Nike didn't immediately respond to a phone call and an email seeking comment Saturday. Online news organization Mississippi Today first reported the story Friday. It's the latest dustup following Oregon-based Nike's decision to use former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in an ad campaign. Kaepernick began kneeling during the national anthem in 2016 to protest police brutality and social injustice.Fisher's move is already drawing criticism from the Mississippi chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union and Democratic state lawmakers."These are the people that are representing all Mississippians," the ACLU chapter said in a statement posted Saturday on Twitter. "These are the people that are creating policy that impact all of our lives. These are the people that took an oath to uphold the Constitution. Yet they refuse to understand what equality, justice, and accountability means. This petty decision is just another show of racism http://www.49erscheapstore.com/marquise-goodwin-jersey-cheap , discrimination, stupidity, inequity, and divisive politics."Other Republican politicians in Mississippi appear to see political advantage in excoriating Nike, though. The campaign of Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves, who plans to run for governor in 2019, sent out a statement Wednesday saying Kaepernick's acts are not a sacrifice — though that's how the Nike ad describes them."By supporting the NFL protests, Nike is making it clear that they would rather stand with those who show contempt for our country over those who defend it," Reeves said.Strain couldn't say how much the department spends on Nike gear Youth Mike Person Jersey , or whether it buys directly from the company. Strain directed The AP to submit a public records request for further information. A state government database that catalogs state purchases shows no state government purchases directly from Nike by any agency in the budget year ended June 30 when searched Saturday by the AP.Earlier this week, the mayor of a New Orleans suburb rescinded an order saying Nike products couldn't be bought for city recreation facilities or even by booster clubs using the facilities. Kenner Mayor Ben Zahn said Wednesday he was rescinding the order, saying it "divided our city and placed Kenner in a false and unflattering light on the national stage." The order prompted a protest Monday that include three members of the New Orleans Saints football team and hundreds of others.Mississippi's Department of Public Safety includes the state Highway Patrol, Bureau of Narcotics, Bureau of Investigation, Office of Homeland Security, Crime Lab and Medical Examiner.Follow Jeff Amy on Twitter at ://jeffamy . Looking at the 49ers drops against the Cardinals There are many things that can frustrate fans in the San Francisco

49ers loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday Womens Customized San Francisco 49ers Jerseys , but a lot of the threads of frustration connect to the offense. And nothing was more infuriating than the drops. Per Pro Football Focus, there were a total of six drops committed by the 49ers. Three for Pierre Gar莽on, and one each for the trio of George Kittle, Kendrick Bourne, and Cole Wick. Gar莽on tied Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Michael Crabtree for most drops Sunday. It is worth noting Gar莽on entered the game with one drop through the first four games. The drops themselves wouldn’t be so maddening if they were simply drops, but that’s just too easy, now isn’t it? They wound up producing awful consequences. One of Gar莽on’s drops could be better classified as self-batted pass that landed in the hands of a Cardinals defender. Was it catchable? After rewatching the game (don’t get me started), the pass looks like it could have been caught if not for Gar莽on getting tripped up at the last (and perfect) minute which may have messed with his timing. The other two were just bad. One was a low-thrown ball, but still catchable for a first down. The other may have been a bit behind, but Gar莽on should have been able to turn and catch it. It would have been another first down if he did. The Kendrick Bourne drop teetered on the realm of unacceptable. Bourne had a nice path to make a lateral move and cut down the field for a first down. The pass hit him right in the numbers and bounced in the air for what could have been an easy interception if defenders were placed right. Those are catches you need to make if you want to keep your job. That brings us to the Cole Wick drop. On 3rd and goal on the 49ers’ 1-yard line, C.J. Beathard throws an absolute dart that had everyone thinking Cole Wick caught it. By everyone www.49erscheapstore.com , I mean everyone because the foghorn that plays for every 49ers touchdown at Levi’s Stadium even started a brief rumble before it was apparent Wick dropped it. As one of the more maddening drops, at least Beathard was able to get the ball into Trent Taylor’s hands a play later—good teams can at least do that. And finally, the George Kittle drop. The Wick drop probably wins for worse drop of the day, but the Kittle drop is up there. For a two point conversion, Beathard threw another dart that looked locked into Kittle’s bicep, and then it fell out. It was yet another catch he should have had. It was a catch you thought he had for a brief moment. The 49ers have had drop issues for several games and they are going to need to get these fixed if they are ever going to be competitive. C.J. Beathard went 34 for 54 on Sunday, which gives him a 62 completion percentage. Had those six drops not happened, Beathard’s numbers would have shot up to a near 75 completion percentage. And yes folks, that’s very good for anyone, not just C.J. Beathard. Catch the [site decorum] ball! The San Francisco 49ers once again will not be playing on a Sunday, instead they will be on Monday Night Football. Last Thursday San Francisco 49ers T-Shirt , the 49ers snapped their six-game losing streak to notch their second win. The double-edged sword effect of this win put them back in draft order, but team morale may be more valuable than a draft pick. Here’s a look at what the top of the draft order looks like: 1. New York Giants (1-7)2. Oakland Raiders (1-7)3. San Francisco 49ers (2-7)4. Buffalo Bills (2-7)5. Arizona Cardinals (2-6)6. Cleveland Browns (2-6-1)The 49ers are not playing on Sunday, but plenty of us will be watching football. Most of the games have teams that should (by logic) lose against a more superior foe, but we’ve seen stranger things happen. Teams at three wins are not on the rooting guide for the time being since the 49ers are still a full game ahead of them in draft order.Bills (2-7) at New York Jets (3-6): Bills — Root for the Bills all you want, but the Jets have their own issues to deal with, especially with their rookie quarterback. At this point, I would love another win for the Bills to just be safe, but don’t hold your breath on it. Atlanta Falcons (4-4) at Browns (2-6-1): Browns — The Falcons are much better than their record indicates and Cleveland always finds a way to ruin everyone else’s plans for draft positioning, the 49ers or otherwise. I’d love a Browns win just because I’m starting to like them out of pity. Los Angeles Chargers (6-2) at Oakland Raiders (1-7): Raiders. Asking them to win a game after their mid-season gutting is like asking a Wile E. Coyote to stop chasing the Road Runner. They are getting thumped. Hard. Arizona Cardinals (2-6) at Kansas City Chiefs (8-1): Cardinals. Though asking them to beat anyone not named the San Francisco 49ers is like asking someone to build a time machine so the 49ers can get a second attempt for the two times they lost to the Cardinals. Which also happens to be the only two times the Cardinals won a game.
Derek Carr showed enough in one drive of what used to be the dress rehearsal game

in the preseason for coach Jon Gruden to shut him down until Oakland's season opener.Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy didn't need to see anything at all fr om Aaron Rodgers.Carr led a scoring drive on his only possession of a shorter-than-expected preseason appearance http://www.newyorkgiantsteamonline.com/patrick-omameh-jersey , and the Raiders beat the Green Bay Packers 13-6 on Friday night."'I had seen enough," Gruden said. "There was not much more to see. The battle for us is who's behind Derek. ... I was very pleased with Derek and how he started the game."Gruden had said earlier in the week that Carr and the offensive starters would likely play into the second quarter. But he pulled him after an opening drive that ended when Reggie Gilbert bull-rushed right tackle Donald Penn into Carr, leading to a sack and fumble that Carr recovered. The Packers rested Rodgers and the rest of the offensive starters. They were held to two field goals and 228 yards of offense behind backups Brett Hundley and DeShone Kizer."We wanted to get some things done offensively. Didn't accomplish that," McCarthy said. "The obvious is the penalties kind of were the theme for the evening. It was a sloppy football game."The Raiders won when Chris Warren III scored on a 1-yard run with 5:07 to play.Carr went deep on the opening play, completing a 49-yard pass to Amari Cooper following a play-action fake. The Raiders moved to the 4 before the sack ended the drive and led to a field goal.Carr then went to the bench after playing just two series the entire preseason. He's expected to sit out next week at Seattle and not play again until the season opener against the Rams on Sept. 10."If we practice at the speed that we do, I feel you can go out in the preseason and play a couple of plays here and there and be ready for the regular season," Carr said.Backup Connor Cook struggled http://www.newyorkgiantsteamonline.com/kareem-martin-jersey , going 6 for 15 for 72 yards and throwing a pass that was intercepted by Green Bay rookie Jaire Alexander . Cook threw another interception that rookie Josh Jackson returned for a TD, but that got overturned by a defensive hold on the other side of the field.E.J. Manuel also turned the ball over in the second half and Gruden said he wasn't sure his backup quarterback was currently on the roster.Hundley wasn't much better, going 8 for 14 for 78 yards and leading one field goal drive in the first half. Kizer was 11 for 23 for 120 yards and also led one field goal drive as the Raiders took advantage of Green Bay's backup offensive line."They were getting around our edges a little bit," Kizer said. "It required me to step up here and there. I was trying to avoid some sacks, trying to keep the ball in play and have some positive plays. That's part of the game, being able to fight adversity."TRADING TEAMSIn warmups, Carr and Rodgers took the opportunity to throw to old teammates who are now on the opposite team. Carr threw to his former Fresno State teammate Davante Adams and Rodgers warmed up with former Packers receiver Jordy Nelson."Derek threw Davante one and Aaron threw me one http://www.newyorkgiantsteamonline.com/aldrick-rosas-jersey ," Nelson said. "It's pretty rare to have that setup. It was fun to see those guys."NATIONAL ANTHEMRaiders running back Marshawn Lynch once again sat during the national anthem. Lynch also sat for the anthem all of last season but never gave a reason for his decision. No other players on either team demonstrated during the anthem.HELMET RULEThere was one penalty under the new rule prohibiting players from leading with their helmets. Oakland S Marcus Gilchrist was called for the infraction on a tackle against Lance Kendricks in the second quarter."I'm not sure I understand that call tonight," Gruden said. "I do understand the rule."DEBUTDominique Rodgers-Cromartie made his debut for the Raiders before even taking part in a practice. Rodgers-Cromartie was signed Thursday and came into the game in the third quarter at cornerback.INJURIESPackers: LB Oren Burks got hurt during warmups and didn't play. ... RB Ty Montgomery left in the first quarter with a foot injury.Raiders: DE Bruce Irvin was excused from the game for a personal matter.NEXT UPPackers: Visit Kansas City on Aug. 30.Raiders: Visit Seattle on Aug. 30. Happy Saturday and welcome to Week 9 of the college football season! The New York Giants might not be saying that they have thrown in the towel on the 2018 season, but the trades of Eli Apple and Damon Harrison should be a pretty clear signal to fans that it’s time to start paying more attention to 2019 draft prospects. Today we have several games that should have great match-ups. We’re starting with one team we have looked at before, but will keep an eye on throughout the remainder of the season. We also have some other teams that we haven’t checked in on yet. Northwestern at (20) WisconsinFOX - noonI have put the spotlight on Wisconsin a few times already this season, but for a New York Giants team in desperate need of several offensive linemen, being familiar with Wisconsin isn’t a bad idea. As we’ve pointed out before, Wisconsin is one of the few OL factories remaining in college football http://www.newyorkgiantsteamonline.com/will-hernandez-jersey , and they have several draft-eligible lineman the Giants should be scouting.Players to watchNorthwesternPaddy Fisher (LB)Montre Hartage (CB)WisconsinDavid Edwards (OT)Michael Deiter (OT)Tyler Biadasz (OC)Beau Benzschawel (OG)Olive Sagapolu (DT)T.J. When the two are right next to each other in the rankings, it should make for a great game. For the Giants, Penn State is probably the more interesting team from a scouting perspective. With Eli Apple traded and Janoris Jenkins possibly next — or a potential cap casualty — the Giants will need to rebuild their secondary to play James Bettcher’s defense. Penn State cornerback Amani Oruwariye has the size, length, quick feet and body control to play in Bettcher’s aggressive coverage schemes, but he is also something of an unknown. He has 35 games of experience, but never started a game before his fifth year at Penn State. Also http://www.newyorkgiantsteamonline.com/b.j.-goodson-jersey , wide reciever Juwan Johnson could intrigue a team which still has few proven options behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard. The player to watch this game is Mississippi State defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. College football games

Ray-Ray Armstrong Jersey , players to watch: Quarterbacks on the menu Happy Saturday everyone, and welcome to Week 4 of the college football season! Is it hard to believe that, somehow, we’re roughly a quarter of the way through college’s regular season? As we’re starting to get into the meat of the college schedule, we have a good slate of games today including some teams we have yet to talk about. The New York Giants haven’t had anything like the start to their season they would have liked, and have many questioning the decision to draft Saquon Barkley instead of a quarterback. This week we have several matchups involving quarterbacks in whom the Giants could be interested if they want to bring in competition for Kyle Lauletta. That, as well as plenty of high-profile prospects in games that could be good scouting tape. So, what are we waiting for? Let’s get to the games!(2) Georgia at Missouri ESPN - NoonThis game is going to boast a bevy of future NFL players, but the top prospect is the one who won’t be on draft boards come the spring of 2019. Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm is one of the top quarterback prospects in the country with NFL size, arm strength, accuracy, and football IQ. Perhaps most importantly, he has been in big situations since his little league team fell just short of representing the Unite States in the Little League World Series. Missouri has a quarterback of their own who is drawing scouts’ more immediate attention. Drew Lock has every measurable trait that gets scouts excited Janoris Jenkins Jersey , and is in the conversation to be a top-10 pick in April. With his size (6-foot-4, 230 pounds), quick-twitch athleticism, and plus arm strength, he has drawn comparisons to Josh Allen and Carson Wentz. But, like Allen, Lock struggles with accuracy and consistency in the passing game. That is concerning, but scouts will invariably be drawn to his physical abilities, and there will be plenty of coaches who will be convinced that they can fix the consistency issues in his game.Players to watchGeorgia Jake Fromm (QB)Deandre Baker (CB)Terry Godwin (WR)J.R. Reed (S)D’Andre Walker (DE)MissouriDrew Lock (QB)(3) Clemson at Georgia TechABC - 3:30 p.m. We haven’t talked about Clemson much this year, but they once again figure to be heavy-hitters in the College Football Playoff picture. Powered by one of the most talented defensive fronts in all of college football, Clemson is fun to watch and should be in every game they play. The Clemson roster is replete with not just future NFL players, but players who figure to be highly drafted. Clelin Ferrell and Christian Wilkins in particular could have declared for the draft following the 2017 season and would have been drafted on the first day, but opted to return to school and keep the talented defensive line together for another run at a championship. The Tigers should beat Georgia Tech Kerry Wynn Jersey , but they very well could have their hands full with the Yellow Jacket’s triple-option offense. The triple option is rare to see outside of games involving the military academies, but it has proven to be an excellent way for GT to maximize its limited talent pool. This should be an exciting game, pitting one of the top quarterback prospects against the nation’s best scoring defense. Oregon’s Justin Herbert is that quarterback, and like Lock possesses intriguing measurables. At 6-6, 230 pounds (school measurements), he is a big, strong quarterback with the arm to fire the ball down the field or into tight windows, or throw down the field with touch. He also has the athleticism to make a defense regret giving him space as a runner. Stanford fields one of the best defenses in the nation, but they don’t have many highly regarded prospects in this year’s draft. Stanford’s top prospect will likely be running back Bryce Love, who returns from a knee injury this week. Love could have declared for last year’s draft, and would have been highly drafted coming off an impressive 223-carry effort that saw him score 19 touchdowns and average 8.1 yards per carry. Instead he returned to school, but has yet to match the offensive production from his sophomore and junior seasons. He’ll hope to get his season on track this season against Oregon.Players to watchStanfordBryce Love (RB)Nate Herbig (OL)Devery Hamilton (OT)Jesse Burkett (OC)J.J. Engram has been out since suffering his injury Week 3 against the Houston Texans. The 2017 first-round pick gives the Giants a pass-catching tight end with speed and skills no other tight end on the roster has.Engram practiced last Tuesday in hopes of playing against the Philadelphia Eagles, but admitted this week that it didn’t go well.“Just wasn’t ready, just wasn’t ready,” Engram said on Tuesday. “That practice, just wasn’t able to be myself.”He was, though, happy after practice this Tuesday.“I feel really good,” Engram said.” Today was a really good day. Went out there and made sure I got warm and stuff and was running around and going as fast as I can go and making all the cuts and doing everything I can do to block, so it felt good. Still got a lot of time, good amount of days until game time, so very probable and I feel really good about going into and the rest of this week.”
Giants coach Pat Shurmur confirms benching Ereck Flowers for

Chad Wheeler Ereck Flowers is being benched by the New York Giants for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans Womens Landon Collins Jersey , with Chad Wheeler starting at right tackle this afternoon.Coach Pat Shurmur confirmed the move in a pre-game interview with Kim Jones of NFL Network. The Giants’ offensive line has struggled in two games, giving up eight sacks. Flowers allowed 11 pressures per Pro Football Focus, including a sack, hit and nine hurries of quarterback Eli Manning. No other Giant offensive lineman has allowed more than five pressures. There have also appeared to be communication issues between Flowers and right guard Patrick Omameh in picking up twists and stunts from opposing defensive linemen. The 2015 first-round pick (ninth overall) was moved from left to right tackle this season by the Giants’ new regime of Shurmur and GM Dave Gettleman. He is in the final year of his rookie contract as the Giants decided not to pick up his fifth-year option.Wheeler was signed last season as an undrafted free agent out of USC. He played in 11 games with five starts. Now it appears he will get an opportunity to make right tackle his job.The Giants will also have a new starting center this week as 12-year veteran John Greco will replace Jon Halapio, lost for the season with an ankle injury.Giants-Panthers final score: Giants beaten Womens Curtis Riley Jersey , 33-31, on 63-yard Graham Gano field goal The New York Giants have seen this movie before. A game-ending 63-yard field goal by Graham Gano gave the Carolina Panthers a 33-31 victory over the Giants on Sunday. This was all too reminiscent of last season’s Week 3 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, when Jake Elliott beat the Giants with a last-second 61-yard kick. Talk about a gut punch. The Giants fought back from a 27-16 fourth-quarter deficit to nearly win the game. Trailing 30-24 with 2:16 left after a Graham Gano field goal, Eli Manning took the Giants 75 yards in four plays for the game-winning score. A 40-yard pass to Russell Shepard with 1:27 left put the Giants at the Carolina 15-yard line. One play later, Manning hit Saquon Barkley for a 15-yard catch-and-run touchdown with Barkley leaping into the end zone with 1:08 left. Aldrick Rosas’ extra point gave the Giants the lead.Carolina drove 30 yards in 8 plays to get into position for Gano’s game-winning kick. The game marked the first time the Giants have scored at 30 points since the final game of the 2015 season Womens Jon Halapio Jersey , ending a streak of 37 games.Manning completed 22-of-36 passes for 326 yards, with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.. Odell Beckham caught 8 passes for 133 yards and his first touchdown of the season. Beckham caught a 33-yard touchdown pass and threw a 57-yard scoring pass to Barkley on a trick play. Barkley ran 15 times for 48 yards and caught 4 passes for 81 yards and 2 TDs. He became the third rookie in NFL history to have 100 or more yards from scrimmage in his first five NFL games. The Giants fall to 1-4. Carolina is 3-1.Moments that matteredBECKHAM’S INTERVIEW: Think of it what you will, the interview with Josina Anderson of ESPN is a huge part of the story for the Giants today.AGAIN? HOW? A year after losing a game on a 61-yard last-second field goal by Jake Elliott of the Philadelphia Eagles, the Giants lost on a 63-yard last-play-of-the-game kick by Graham Gano. That’s the second-longest in NFL history. That’s a bad dream, right? Not reality?OOPS!: Carolina got a first-quarter touchdown when Beckham http://www.newyorkgiantsteamonline.com/b.j.-hill-jersey , returning punts, tried to throw a block on a Panthers coverage player. The ball hit him, the Panthers recovered for a touchdown. IF YOU CAN’T CATCH ‘EM: ...: It’s been obvious that the Giants have needed more big plays in the passing game. Beckham got them their biggest of the season by throwing a 57-yard touchdown pass to Saquon Barkley off a second-quarter trick play.PICK-FEST: Manning and Cam Newton each threw a pair of second-half interceptions. Manning was picked off by Carolina defensive back Mike Adams both times. Curtis Riley and Janoris Jenkins each had interceptions of Newton.UNNECESSARY ROUGHESS?: After the Giants had appeared to stop the Panthers, breaking up a third-down pass for Devin Funchess on third-and-13, Michael Thomas was called for helmet-to-helmet contact. That gave Carolina a first down at the Giants’ 44-yard line and led to a game-changing 18-yard touchdown pass to Christian McCaffrey that gave Carolina a 27-16 lead with 11:21 to play.BECKHAM FINALLY SCORES: The Giants got within three when Beckham split a double team and hauled in a 33-yard touchdown pass from Manning with 8:08 left. The touchdown was Beckham’s first of the season. A Janoris Jenkins interception gave the Giants the ball at Carolina’s 34-yard line. A 2-point conversion pass to Rhett Ellison brought the Giants within three Womens Riley Dixon Jersey , 27-24.BARKLEY GOES FOR 129: That’s total yards, making it the fifth straight game he has surpassed 100. That makes him only the third player in NFL history to have 100 or more yards from scrimmage in his first five games. What’s next? The Giants host the Philadelphia Eagles this week on Thursday Night Football.
another vegas odds article.

Another week Cheap Customized Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jerseys ,This is by far my favorite article to write throughout the week, partly because I think sports gambling is fantastic, but also because it simply tells you what the oddsmakers in Vegas are thinking regarding the game. Tampa Bay are underdogs in this game as expected. The Buccaneers currently sit at 3-4, while the Panthers are 5-2 and are on a two game winning streak. In no way am I a professional gambler and in no way am I telling you to put your money with what I predict. This is really just for fun and something we here at Bucs Nation thought the readers would enjoy after sports gambling was legalized. For those that don’t know sports gambling, I will quickly go over the three main bets that are often placed. Also, the lines could always change and the website you use, could be different from mine. Betting with the spread: Currently, the Buccaneers are +6. This means that if you were to take the Buccaneers with the spread, they can lose by 5 and you’d win the bet. If you take the Panthers at -6 http://www.authenticstampabaybuccaneers.com/cheap-vinny-curry-jersey , they have to win by 7 in order for you to win. It is also possible for you to push this week. If the game ends in a panther victory by 6, everyone gets their money back if you took the spread. Spread bets always have the same odds, which are -110. This means that you need to risk $110 to win $100. To open the week, Tampa Bay was +7, so it has dropped by a point. Money line bets: As of late friday night, the Buccaneers are anywhere from +235 to +250, depending on the website or sportsbook you use. So a $100 dollar bet will win you $235 or $250. That’s a pretty solid return for a team who should probably be 5-2 on the season if it weren’t for Jameis Winston interceptions. The Panthers are -290, but opened the week at -260, So obviously sportsbooks have gotten hefty bets on the Panthers money line. You’d have to risk $260 just to win 100 dollars.Over/Under bets: Again http://www.authenticstampabaybuccaneers.com/cheap-ryan-jensen-jersey , no matter what way you pick, the odds in this case are -110. Vegas sports books currently have the over under at 55 total points scored. If you take the over, the Bucs and Panthers must combined to score 55 points in order for you to win. Obviously, 54 points or under would result in a win if you go that route. The line opened at 54, so the public likes the over in this as well and how can you not? It’s likely the Bucs will fall behind early and have to play catch-up for the remainder of the game.Last week was a 1-1 week for me yet again. I can’t seem to get that sweep, but i’d much rather a .500 week then a 0-2 week. My overall record on the season is 7-7. A few things to consider: The total has gone OVER in 7 of the last 8 games Tampa Bay has played on the road. The total has gone OVER in 7 of the last 8 games Tampa Bay has played overall. Carolina is 5-0 straight up in their last 5 games played at home. Carolina is 4-1 straight up in their last 5 games played. My picks: I like Tampa Bay +6. I don’t think they win this football game, but 3 of their 4 losses this season have been by less than 6 points. I expect Fitzmagic to make a little bit of a run in the fourth quarter and cover that spread. Also, take the over, this defense is still trash. The Crow’s Nest: Perfect kicking Youth Jameis Winston Jersey , riding a scooter, and No. 99 New Bucs kicker Chandler Catanzaro perfect in windy practice test - Tampa Bay TimesNew Bucs kicker Chandler Catanzaro won't get the chance to kick in Raymond James Stadium for another three weeks, but he's getting a feel for the conditions he'll face, including a perfect day with a cross wind Tuesday.Bucs 1st-round draft pick Vita Vea at camp on scooter - WFLAIt was a tough sight to see at Bucs training camp Tuesday. Fan disappointment and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

We all get disappointed for some reason or another when it comes to our favorite sports teams. Part of being involved physically and emotionally as a fan makes it all worth it. As fans www.authenticstampabaybuccaneers.com , disappointment is a shared commodity and it’s the ability to express these feelings out loud that makes a sports community so amazing. I asked our readers, fans and my own personal friends via twitter for their most disappointing items in relations to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers so we can discuss together and take a collective sigh of relief because after all, we’re in this together. It didn’t take long for a response that should make us all take a step back and think aloud came about. As JC states below, why can’t fans, the media or anybody outside of One Buc seem to give these guys a chance? Adding on to @jcdelatorre ‘s tweet above, it seems as if the team of late has sucked the fun out of being a fan and dreaming big. It’s a brand new season, the defense and offense have had their share of improvements via the draft and free agency, so why is there not more optimism at least locally about this team? Then again, @jcdelatorre did back up our very own @GilArciaBucs who feels the team may see double digit wins in his record prediction. Jameis Winston was sure to come up in some way shape or form and @A_Katzman83 didn’t mince words in his take. A sore topic for sure but one worth mentioning because this dead horse hasn’t quite been beaten enough. Many fans have stuck of for Jameis or gone out of their way to defend the quarterback’s actions and accusations against while at Florida State. Some have felt the need to defend his on field play as well and to each their own on all accounts. What most of us fans can agree on is this, when news first broke (and then the suspension) that Jameis may have been involved in an incident with an Uber driver that involved some misconduct, we all pulled a little hair out of our scalps and asked “WHY?!?!?!?”. So don’t worry Andrew, you’re definitely not alone on this one. No response hit home quite like this one here from @BeckerBoy. We all remember the glory days when defense ruled this team and struck fear into the hearts of opposing fan bases when they knew their offense had to go up against Sapp and company. Defense was suppose to be this teams identity for generations to come much like the Steel Curtain in Pittsburgh. But as @BeckerBoy states below... it’s quite the opposite lately. The way the team has performed since the dominating defense vanished is just sad. The offense is inconsistent, the defense at times is a leaking faucet that only keeps gushing worse and worse. The kicking game... let’s not even go there actually. The team as a whole has failed. Nothing would be better than a winning season to cure all the disappointment among the fan base. That word finds it’s way into another piece here, huh? Winning. 7 letters but it almost seems as if it’s a 4 letter word around these parts. If this team, this staff, this ownership and these players could just find a way to put it together in 2018 and win, win big, win often... these fans would have a lot to cheer about and would soon forget about the recent disappointment that surrounds their sports fan lives. Come on Buccaneers, let’s set the sails and win some ball games. One Buc Place has a new name Florida Hospital, which will soon be known as AdventHealth, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers unveiled a new name and logo for the NFL team’s training facility and business offices, which will now be named the AdventHealth Training Center. The team’s headquarters includes a new air-conditioned indoor practice facility, three outdoor practice fields Tampa Bay Buccaneers T-Shirt , as well as player areas and administrative offices.Florida Hospital and the Buccaneers created their unique partnership six years ago when Florida Hospital became the Exclusive Hospital of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The collaboration has enabled the two organizations to promote key health initiatives in the community and this elevated partnership will give Florida Hospital and the Buccaneers even greater ability to identify and tackle important health issues in the Greater Tampa Bay Area.“We want to make a meaningful difference and lasting impact in the health and wellness of this community and this partnership bolsters the strength and ability we have to do that,” said Mike Schultz, President and CEO, Florida Hospital, the West Florida Division of Adventist Health System. “We are not only investing in the health and well-being of our professional athletes, we are investing in and inspiring the next generation. We believe it’s vital for our young people to have a healthy future.”With the 10-year naming rights deal announced today, Florida Hospital and the Buccaneers also plan to develop a series of educational health and wellness videos pairing Florida Hospital and team experts to address topics such as nutrition and diet, staying hydrated, proper stretching and how to prevent sports injuries. That initiative plays into other existing health and wellness platforms including the Treasure Chests 5K and Fun Run to raise breast cancer awareness, 8 On Your Side Health and Fitness Expo, Bucs Babies, the Back to School Bash which provides free physicals, dental and eye exams, and immunizations to local students, as well as the first ever Faith and Football tournament.“Today’s announcement is yet another example of the strong partnership we have forged with Florida Hospital over the past six years,” said Buccaneers Owner/Co-Chairman Bryan Glazer. “Together, we have enjoyed success on many community initiatives and this heightened level of partnership allows for even greater opportunities as Florida Hospital transitions into AdventHealth. We take pride in having world-class training facilities and business headquarters and we are equally thrilled to align ourselves with an industry leader such as AdventHealth.” The player’s entrance at One Buc Place, now named AdventHealth Training Center.Tampa Bay BuccaneersThe AdventHealth Training Center opened in 2006 and immediately set a new standard for team training and business headquarters. The AdventHealth Training Center’s indoor facility allows the team to practice year-round regardless of weather conditions and is used frequently for walkthroughs, practices and select training camp practices.“Here in Florida, weather is always going to be a factor in your ability to prepare your team,“ said Buccaneers Head Coach Dirk Koetter. “Early in the season we are always dealing with very hot, humid weather, lightning delays and even hurricanes, so having an indoor practice facility that ensures you don’t miss practice time is essential to winning. The AdventHealth Training Center indoor practice facility is a real game changer for us in that we now can ensure our players are as well prepared as possible heading into every game.”The team’s indoor practice facility with new logo on it.Tampa Bay BuccaneersFlorida Hospital is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization, operating 28 hospitals across the state, delivering whole-person care to millions of patients each year. " - JoeBucsFan.comSo who is starting for the Bucs in Chicago on Sunday? The Buccaneers improved their record to 2-0 on Sunday with a 27-21 home win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Tampa Bay’s rookies are still working through the expected early-season learning curve, but there were positives from a few guys in the victory. There’s still plenty of room for improvement as well. Let’s get going with this week’s rookie recap.S Jordan Whitehead, CBs Carlton Davis and M.J. StewartThe fact that Jordan Whitehead, Carlton Davis and M.J. Stewart are even seeing the field gives them a step ahead of their fellow rookies. That they are getting playing time and not showing up on the inactive list is encouraging, as sad as that seems. But here’s the other thing: these guys are playing pretty darn well for the position they’re in. The injuries to Brent Grimes, Vernon Hargreaves III and Chris Conte have opened a door for the rookies to dive right into their NFL careers. There are growing pains, as expected, but it feels safe to say that these guys are on their way to being good players at the professional level. Whitehead stood out the most in Sunday’s win over Philadelphia, getting on the field after Conte left with an injury. The Pitt product finished the day with six tackles (four solo), coming up with a couple of strong run stops at the line of scrimmage and around the edge. He was largely effective in coverage as well, which of course provides a nice complement to Justin Evans. The Bucs obviously want Conte back as soon as possible Womens Vita Vea Jersey , but they should feel good about what they have in Whitehead. As far as Davis and Stewart are concerned, both are coming along nicely while being put in tough positions. Having to start your NFL career by playing a high volume of snaps against Drew Brees and last year’s Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles isn’t ideal. Despite facing that, the two young corners are showing flashes of why they were so successful at the college level. Davis came up with six tackles (all solo) and a pass defended on Sunday while Stewart tallied five tackles (four solo), a tackle for loss and a quarterback hit. These guys are still developing, sure, but with the amount of playing time they’re getting, they’ll come along quick. In Sunday’s win, Davis played 77 of 79 snaps (97 percent), Stewart was in for 67 of 79 (85 percent) and Whitehead got 36 of 79 (46 percent). Tampa Bay has something here as far as the future is concerned. Be encouraged by that. But at the same time... Inactives: DT Vita Vea, RB Ronald Jones II, OL Alex Cappa, WR Justin WatsonNo matter the reasons, it has to be somewhat of a disappointment to see this many of your rookies on the inactive list. Vita Vea has yet to return from injury, which is understandable. Injuries unfortunately happen and blaming Vea makes no sense. That doesn’t mean it’s not disappointing that he is still sidelined. The same issues remained this week for Alex Cappa and Justin Watson— there just aren’t enough open spots on the gameday roster at their respective positions. It’s understandable that both Cappa and Watson weren’t out there www.tampabaybuccaneersteamonline.com , considering they’re developmental type of guys that the Bucs want around for the future. There’s plenty of depth at both of their positions, so the team doesn’t need them too badly at the moment. The Ronald Jones situation is an interesting one. Tampa Bay drafted him to be a one-two guy with Peyton Barber, but he has yet to see the field in the regular season. Head coach Dirk Koetter said last week that no one is mad at Jones, but the team will continue to put together a roster of the best 46 guys. Unfortunately, the feeling must be that Jones isn’t one of those 46 guys yet. That doesn’t mean he won’t ever be, but his progress appears to be much slower than the Bucs were anticipating. It’s perfectly reasonable to think we will see Jones make his NFL debut soon. He has the talent to play in this league, surely. The big hurdle is whether or not he has improved his pass-protection. If he has a good week of practice, maybe he takes the field on Monday against the Steelers. The Bucs hope so and it’s a certainty that the fans want to see him. Hope isn’t lost for the second-rounder, no matter how much you think it is. The best of the restUndrafted free agent Shaun Wilson was active again, but didn’t get any kick return opportunities. He did take his one carry out of the backfield for nine yards... Sixth-rounder Jack Cichy was also active, playing 13 snaps on special teams.

Despite not receiving much work in the running game Youth Trevon Coley Jersey , Johnson has averaged a respectable 4.2 yards per carry and is also the possessor of one of the game’s best stiff arms. It is in the passing game, as PFF points out, wh ere Johnson makes his mark.He se t a franchise record for receptions by a running back with 74 in 2017, breaking Greg Pruitt’s 36-year old mark of 65 receptions. Johnson is also reliable, as he has caught 78 percent of the passes thrown his way in the NFL and has never missed a game.Johnson has not seen much action so far in the preseason - no receptions and just five rushes for 30 yards - but with the Browns playing their third preseason game tonight, considered the “most important” one of the preseason, the team may be ready to showcase more of their secret superstar against the Philadelphia Eagles.

So, we've got to play better.Carr threw for 437 yards, Marshawn Lynch ran for 130 yards for his most productive game in four years, and Amari Cooper (128 yards) and Jared Cook (110) each topped the 100-yard mark. The Browns broke out to a 28-14 lead midway through the third quarter only to fall behind 34-28 early in the fourth thanks in part to Mayfield losing two fumbles deep in his own territory to set up TD passes by Carr. But the Raiders squandered a fourth-quarter lead for the second straight week Authentic Jarvis Landry Jersey , falling behind 42-34 after Mayfield's 59-yard pass to Antonio Callaway set up Carlos Hyde's 1-yard run and rookie Nick Chubb ran 41 yards for his second long TD of the game.It looked as if that would decide the game when the Browns forced Carr into two incompletions from the 9 with under two minutes left to lead to a turnover on downs.Cleveland appeared to be in position to run out the clock when Hyde converted a first down, but a replay review determined he was down just short of the marker and the Browns punted."That was huge," Hyde said. "That was a chance to put the game away right there. Definitely. That was a game-changer right there."Carr then engineered a 53-yard touchdown drive capped by a 7-yard pass to Jared Cook with 30 seconds to play. The Raiders still needed the 2-point conversion to tie it and they got it when Jordy Nelson came down with a fade despite physical coverage by ex-Raider TJ Carrie.Carr has 14 fourth-quarter comebacks but just two since his breakthrough season in 2016 when he did it seven times."It did feel like the old times," he said. "The way we did that, it helps our team going forward to know what it takes."CHUBB'S RUNSChubb had just three carries on the day, but the first went for a 63-yard score in the second quarter and the last went for 41 yards and another TD. He finished with three carries for 105 yards.GO FOR 2Jackson went for a 2-point conversion twice in the first half. Mayfield's pass to Callaway was incomplete on the first attempt before Duke Johnson ran in the second try to make it 17-7.QUICK WHISTLEThe Raiders were upset by a quick whistle that possibly cost Lynch a long TD run. Lynch ran left and linebacker Joe Schobert tried to tackle him but Lynch appeared to spin out of it without going to the ground. He kept running for what could have been a 75-yard TD but the play was blown dead. The Browns were hurt by a quick whistle in the fourth quarter when Carr was ruled in the grasp, negating a fumble recovery that might have resulted in a TD.INJURIESBrowns S Terrance Mitchell left the game with a broken arm in the first half. ... Raiders RT Donald Penn left in the second half with a leg injury and LF Kelechi Osemele also left with an undisclosed injury.UP NEXTBrowns: Host Baltimore on Sunday.Raiders: Visit Chargers on Sunday. Baltimore safety Eric Weddle proudly proclaimed this wasn't the same Ravens team following a spirited victory over the Broncos in Week 3.He might have spoken too soon. The Ravens (3-2) have dropped out of first place in the AFC North following their 12-9 overtime loss to the revamped Cleveland Browns on Sunday. The performance was reminiscent of Baltimore's struggles in 2017 when it failed to make the postseason for the third consecutive year. The Ravens couldn't muster a touchdown and committed two turnovers, including one in the red zone, against a Cleveland defense that is ranked in the bottom third of league.Baltimore gave up 342 yards passing and a touchdown to rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield. The secondary also allowed a long play downfield in overtime that set up the game-winning, 37-yard field goal by Greg Joseph with two seconds remaining.Coach John Harbaugh defended his team's ratio between passing attempts (57) and the number of times the Ravens ran the ball (25) at his Monday news conference."That's not a topic for us," he said. "You do whatever you can do to move the ball and score points. We've been doing a pretty good job of that until this last game. We just need to put more points on the board. Nine points . it's tough to win games that way. That's the bottom line. This run-pass balance thing, I don't understand why it's even a topic."Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was 29 of 56 for 298 yards and an interception on the Browns 2-yard line with his team leading 3-0. "We turned the ball over a couple times, and we had them getting a little tired. We just weren't able to keep and sustain it for anything significant. We had our chances. In these kind of games when you have little chances http://www.thebrownsfootballauthentic.com/trevon-coley-jersey-authentic , you have to be able to take advantage of them. The couple that we had, we probably just didn't execute well."Entering the year, Flacco was provided with more talent at wide receiver with the free-agent signings of Michael Crabtree, John Brown and Willie Snead. That trio has made plays throughout the season. Crabtree led the team with six catches for 66 yards against Cleveland. Brown had four catches for 58 yards and Snead caught five passes for 55 yards. However, Crabtree had a couple of critical drops that would have extended drives. He also could not hang onto a potential game-winning touchdown in the final minute of regulation. After the game, Crabtree took responsibility for the loss."I should have made that catch," Crabtree said. "The game would have been over. I put that on me. If I have to catch 2,000 balls a week in practice, I'm going to have to do that."The Ravens have to quickly regroup and prepare for the Tennessee Titans, which will close out a string of three consecutive road games. Baltimore will face its former defensive coordinator Dean Pees, who retired after the 2017 season before accepting the same role in Tennessee."We're quick to get over wins, and we have to be quick to get over losses," linebacker Terrell Suggs said. "We're going to get back to the drawing board and come Wednesday, this one's going to be behind us. We're going to be ready for Tennessee."
